Dore Woodman were extremely honest with the potential of the Heat Pump and what the costs were likely to be. The installation was done promptly and to the highest levels of professionalism – my existing system was discovered to be not up to the demands of the new equipment when the floorboards came up and DW upgraded this for me FoC.
No mess was left and the system was installed and running within the week.
We now have oodles of hot water, a warm house and no gas bill.
The running costs have been much lower than we expected and DW completed all of MCS and RHI paper to enable me to claim the incentives.
6 months later they came back to fine tune the system before the coldest months.

Instead of trying to sell us what they wanted to shift, they listened more than they spoke, correctly identified our needs and then, when we accepted their quote, delivered to an excellent standard.
Subsequently following various forums, we have become aware just how many heat pump horror stories are being told, and just how many of the potential pitfalls Dore Woodman avoided simply by designing, planning and installing in a professional manner. After posting a question about an issue I was having with the install of my system with another company on a Facebook group, Ben contacted me and discussed the issues further offering his expert advice, after further conversations with the previous company it became apparent that through no fault of their own they could not deliver our system in time for us to get into the new house.

When we started our project, I knew I wanted an ASHP but didn’t know where to start. I was lucky enough to come across Dore Woodman. Jason and Ben were so helpful and friendly, not to mention patient, with all my questions.
We didn’t have a massive budget so Ben helped us work out a cost-effective solution. Not only did Dore Woodman help us with the heating but offered us advice and support at times when the build became a bit overwhelming.
After living in a motor home for 9 weeks I remember the night we had our first hot shower it felt so amazing, then a month or so later walking into the house after the underfloor heating had been installed it instantly made our home feel warm and cosy.
The team at Dore Woodman have been fantastic every step of the way and so accommodating when fitting in and around all the other tradesman. We are so impressed with our heating system you would never know its not a traditional boiler system and it is super quiet. We are very happy with it and I am proud we are doing our bit to support a more sustainable heating solution.

They say ‘the devil is in the detail ‘ and certainly good advice over the innovative and money saving heating system ,the heating manifold being placed in a cupboard creating a wonderfully warm ‘hot airing cupboard’ , useful hot and cold water taps outside the property, patience over the perfect height of the wall hung toilet as I suffer with Rheumatoid Arthritis and the height of the bath and placing of grab rails and my ‘walk in’ shower has made our bathroom not only beautiful but also able to be easily ‘adapted’ if my condition should worsen.
Big shout out to all the guys but a special mention to the very skilful Jordan who is always happy to answer any questions and endlessly patient!
